In 1979 I was discharged from the U.S. Army under honorable conditions as a Sergeant in the infantry, with a personnel file containing multiple letters of commendation from various Generals. and multiple awards for outstanding service. My time in the military instilled in me a trait that sets my work apart from most, that being attention to detail.
After my discharge I took advantage of my GI Bill benefits to go to an excellent VoTech school to learn machine tool technology, and begin my career as a machinist. It was a stroke of luck to study under a teacher who had worked in the field since the 1940’s, and fully understand the principle and the practice, and the associated need for attention to detail .
My formal education regarding machine work instilled in me a trait which has helped distinguish my work all along, machining is something I understand, as opposed to something I only learned how to do.
1982 found me in Scurry county Texas which has been home since. In more than 40 you’s I’ve had such time to gain experience with a wide variety of materials, assembly designs, needs, and ever more attention to detail.
If you have a need for machine work and would like to benefit from this experience, and see for yourself the attention to detail, check us out. Whether it’s a repair, a modification or a duplicate made of a piece, contact us or stop by.
